Ultimate luxury in the Tramuntana, a stone's throw from Palma

Art, antiques and history lovers will love this hotel, a recently restored family estate dating back from the 17th century when it was the palacio of the Net family.

Son Net is a typical Mallorcan finca of pinkish terracotta colour, with classical Mediterranean gardens around the terrace and pool overlooking Puigpunyent, a quiet little town cradled by the dramatic peaks of the Tramuntana mountains.

Inside, it is a collection of tasteful exuberance: a dense layering of textures, textiles and various influences, created by Lorenzo Castillo, the famous Madrid-based art historian, antiques collector & interior designer.

Lorenzo describes Son Net as “the sort of project a designer only gets once in a lifetime” and has filled the place with genuine antiques, either sourced bespoke or from his own personal collection.

Very recently (2020), Son Net was taken over by J. López Granados, the art collector and owner of Finca Cortesin, the award-winning resort west of Marbella. Grand Hotel Son Net was then coming-out as a Cortesin hotel…

Each of the 31 rooms, including 6 poolside cottages away from the main mansion, has its own unique design. Some lean towards Imperial China, Italian Renaissance or colonial Spain, but are all richly textured, many with bespoke fabrics and large marble bathrooms.

The spa, due to open in the fall 2023, will offer an extensive wellness offer and state-of-the-art facilities, from sauna, hammam, indoor pool, treatment rooms to yoga classes and personal training.

Welcome to Grand Hotel Son Net, the perfect and elegant home away from home in Mallorca!
